Gavin Matthew Walence, 35, was killed after his disabled vehicle was hit. The accident happened at the 14600 block of I-35 around 3:15 a.m.
Live Oak Police said Walence had struck a concrete barrier and was stopped in the right-hand lane when a second vehicle stopped to assist him. Walence’s car was then hit by a third vehicle. The crash ejected Walence from the vehicle and he was then struck and killed by oncoming traffic, investigators said.
