A woman was tragically killed on Saturday, January 11th in Rockford when her disabled vehicle was struck by a FedEx truck.
The fatal accident occurred at approximately 1:20 a.m. on Interstate 90. The FedEx driver hit the woman’s vehicle and she was pronounced dead at the scene. The woman’s 4-year-old child was transported to a local hospital for treatment of injuries that are not life-threatening.
The Illinois State Police (ISP) is investigating the crash.
