A 54-year-old Fall River man was killed early Monday morning when his car was hit from the rear by a tractor-trailer on Route 95 in Warwick, the state police said.
Patrick Albin as the driver and sole occupant of a Toyota Corolla that was hit about 5 a.m. on Route 95 South, just north of Route 117, the state police said.
The state police said a preliminary investigation indicates that the Corolla was stopped in the breakdown lane when it was hit by the tractor-trailer.
The truck driver was not injured, state police said.
