Name released of man killed in Highway 60 crash

HENDERSON, Ky. (WFIE) - Kentucky State Police say there was a three-vehicle fatal collision on Thursday around 6:15 p.m.

It happened in the 2600 block of US 60 West near Henderson Community College.

Troopers say 23-year-old Christian T. Flint of Morganfield was heading west on US 60 when he ran off the right shoulder of the roadway and struck a guardrail.

Troopers believe his 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt redirected back onto the roadway where he hit a 2008 Mazda driven by 52-year-old Chiemi Cheatham of Morganfield.

They say Flint’s vehicle then struck a 2004 Volvo driven by 19-year-old John Abbott of Henderson.

Troopers say Flint died while in-transit to the hospital. They don’t believe he was wearing a seatbelt.

Troopers say Cheatham was not hurt, and Abbott was was taken to an Evansville hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
