POMONA, CA, (April 12, 2020) - Christopher Gilpineda sadly died on Saturday, April 11th when he was struck by a vehicle as he stood next to his disabled vehicle on the San Bernardino (10) Freeway in Pomona. Gilpineda, 21, stopped his 2017 Honda Civic at about 11:25 p.m. after it became disabled due to a flat front tire. He exited his vehicle, which was struck by a 2018 Honda Civic driven by an unidentified driver. The 2018 Civic then hit Gilpineda, who sadly was pronounced dead at the scene.
