Madison Freeland struck, injured by vehicle in Savannah

SAVANNAH, GA, (April 26, 2020) - Madison Freeland was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle on Sunday, April 26th in Savannah. Freeland’s car became disabled on the southbound Truman Parkway near the Bluff Road off ramp at about 8:45 p.m. Freeland exited the vehicle and was hit by a Ford Escape driven by 35-year-old Derrick Wilson. Freeland was rushed to Memorial Medical Center for treatment of life-threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
