KENT COUNTY, MI – A woman who standing outside of her vehicle after a crash was then hit by another vehicle and seriously injured.
The victim, a 21-year-old Grand Rapids woman, was hospitalized Sunday, May 3, with serious injuries, Walker police said.
She was struck around 9:20 p.m. at Wilson Avenue NW and West Grand Boulevard.
She had just gotten into a crash and got out of her vehicle before she was hit by another vehicle, driven by a 69-year-old Grandville man. Walker police said speed and alcohol do not appear to be factors. Wilson Avenue was closed two hours while police investigated.
