CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A 67-year-old man has died after he was hit by a vehicle in Clarksville Tuesday night.
The crash happened on Tiny Town Road near Green Acres Drive.
Clarksville police reported John Hill-Nicholson was traveling eastbound on Tiny Town Road when some items he was hauling in a trailer fell out onto the roadway. He stopped in the center of the road and got out of his vehicle to gather them, according to crash investigators.
A vehicle traveling westbound then hit Hill-Nicolson. He was taken to Tennova Hospital where he died form his injuries.
The driver of that vehicle stopped and was not injured in the crash, according to Clarksville police.
No additional information was immediately released.
