WYTHE COUNTY, Va. (WSET) — The vehicle in a deadly crash was discovered more than a week later in Wythe County.
Police say the crash is believed to have occurred on Oct. 23 on Wysor Highway, less than a mile south of Greenbriar Road.
The crashed vehicle was found on Oct. 31 at around 4 p.m.A 2004 Ford Explorer pulling a utility trailer was traveling north on Wysor Highway when it ran off the left side of the road, went over an embankment and overturned.
David W. Parish, 57, of Woodlawn, died at the scene. He was wearing a seatbelt.
The crash remains under investigation.
