ATLANTA, GA, (February 05, 2021) - Alberto Henderson, 48, tragically lost his life after being hit by a tractor-trailer Friday morning in Atlanta. He had a flat tire and was struck when he walked across Interstate-285 to read a road sign, police said.Investigators at the scene determined Henderson was hit around 2:15 a.m. while trying to pinpoint his location after blowing a tire on the inner loop near the ramp to Interstate-20 in Fulton County.
Authorities said Henderson was a Baltimore, Maryland resident.
The incident is under investigation, and there is no further information at this time, a police spokesperson said.
