COLLETON COUNTY, S.C. (WCSC) - The driver of a truck was killed and a juvenile passenger was injured following a crash involving multiple vehicles.
It happened on Thursday afternoon at 12:35 p.m. on I-95 southbound near mile marker 60.
The Highway Patrol reported that a GMC Sierra was traveling on the highway, ran off the road and struck a Ram Truck that was parked on the shoulder.
Troopers said the Ram Truck then struck a semi-truck which was also parked on the shoulder.
The driver of the Sierra was killed while the juvenile passenger was transported to the Medical University of South Carolina.
Trooper Tyler Tidwell said the occupants were not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
