Three sent to hospital after I-80 crash

CLEARFIELD COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — Crews responded to a multi-vehicle accident Monday night in Clearfield County.

According to state police, there were four different crashes involving six tractor-trailers that shut down Interstate 80 for several hours near mile marker 130.Trooper Bruce Morris said three people were sent to the hospital and one person was listed in critical condition. Two of the wrecked tractor-trailers remain at the scene but are off the road and will be removed when there are better weather conditions.

Multiple firefighter and EMS crews from both Centre and Clearfield counties were called in to help clear the roadway.
