Grand Prairie, TX – September 11, 2021, a 58-year-old man was killed when a vehicle hit his disabled SUV on the service road of Interstate 30 in Grand Prairie.
Authorities say the incident happened around 8:15 p.m. on the I-30 service road near Beltline Road. Preliminary investigation suggests the victim’s SUV was disabled in the road for unknown reasons and did not have its lights on. The victim reportedly exited the vehicle and was standing near it when another car approached on the roadway and struck both of them.
The SUV’s driver was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported.
