BELLE GLADE, Fla. (CBS12) — A 65-year-old man was killed when another driver didn’t see him getting out of his disabled pickup truck.
The Florida Highway Patrol reports the victim, from Pahokee, had crashed his pickup truck on SR 80 and Custard Apple Blvd. in Belle Glade.
That happened just after 8 p.m. Wednesday.
When he was getting out of his pickup truck, authorities say the driver of a car didn’t notice him on the roadway.
She hit the man and his pickup truck, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
His name has not been released.
