Alexandria, MN – January 3, 2022, a driver was killed after crashing into a jackknifed tractor-trailer along 34th Avenue West in Alexandria.
Authorities say the incident happened around 7:45 p.m. on the 2600 block of 34th Avenue West. Preliminary investigation suggests the semi-truck and its trailer were jackknifed in the roadway, blocking both lanes, when the victim’s westbound vehicle crashed into them.
The car’s driver was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported.
