Shenandoah County, VA – November 26, 2022, Arturo Garcia Silverio was killed and two people were injured after a semi-truck accident.
Investigators said that the accident happened at around 4:30 p.m. along I-81 near the exit for Route 730.
It appears that 39-year-old Arturo Garcia Silverio was the driver of a Honda Accord stopped in the right lane of southbound I-81 for unclear reasons. While there, a Freightliner hit Silverio’s Honda, then overturned on the median.
Silverio sustained fatal injuries due to the collision. Two people in the car had injuries described as minor. No other injuries were confirmed. Right now additional details are unavailable.
