Mark Terpak tragically killed in Irvington pedestrian accident

IRVINGTON, NJ, (November 26, 2022) - A 60-year-old man was tragically killed early Saturday morning when he was hit by a vehicle along the Garden State Parkway in Irvington.

According to New Jersey State Police, Mark Terpak, of Little Falls, was operating a Chevrolet Camaro southbound along the parkway when he crashed near milepost 144 and stopped in the center lane. Subsequently, Terpak stepped out of the disabled vehicle and was struck by a Lexus NX3.

Sadly, Terpak died from injuries suffered in the crash.

No additional injuries were reported.

State police continue to investigate the incident.
