ROBESON, NC, (December 20, 2022) - The North Carolina State Highway Patrol says a 60-year-old woman died Tuesday evening when she was struck by a vehicle along Interstate 95 in Robeson County.
According to authorities, Erline B. White, of St. Pauls, was traveling in a vehicle that crashed along the interstate close to 6 p.m. After the wreck, White exited the vehicle, attempted to cross the roadway, and was hit by a pickup truck.
Sadly, White died after she was struck by the pickup. It was not initially clear whether she was the first vehicle’s driver or a passenger.
