Dayton, TX – February 11, 2022, a man was killed as the result of an accident where a pickup and an 18-wheeler crashed into a car along US 90.
Investigators indicated that the crash took place at around 7:00 a.m. west of town on US 90 near the Grand Parkway construction.
According to reports, a Honda Civic reportedly broke down along the roadway where there was no shoulder. While in the road, a Dodge Ram hit the Honda, causing the car to spin into the barricade. Following this, an 18-wheeler then hit the Honda a second time.
Due to the collision, one person in the Honda, a man in his 30s, sustained fatal injuries. No other injuries were reported. Investigations are ongoing at this time.
