Austin County, TX – February 15, 2022, one person was injured due to an accident where two 18-wheelers and a pickup collided along I-10.
Investigators reported that the crash took place just after noon along I-10 near mile marker 714.
In their reports, authorities said that a man was in a Chevy Silverado traveling westbound on the interstate. There was debris in the roadway, and the pickup came to a stop, followed by an 18-wheeler. A second 18-wheeler, however, reportedly failed to control speed and rear-ended the first one, pushing it into the pickup.
The pickup driver reportedly had incapacitating injuries due to the crash. No other injuries were reported. At this time, no further information is available.
