The Minnesota State Patrol is trying to determine why a Brooklyn Center man stopped his pickup truck in a lane of traffic late at night in Plymouth, leading to the death of another driver.
According to the State Patrol, the driver of an SUV crashed into a Ford Ranger stopped in the right lane on southbound Highway 169 at about 9:40 p.m. Monday. The SUV driver, identified as 67-year-old Glenn Miller of New Hope, was killed. Miller was pronounced dead at North Memorial Health Hospital in Robbinsdale.
The pickup truck driver who stopped, identified as 57-year-old Andrew Landis of Brooklyn Center, was injured but did not require hospital attention.
The State Patrol tells CCX News that the case remains an open investigation.
