Queens, NY – Good Samaritan Struck While Tending to Crash Victims on 103rd Ave

Queens, NY (August 07, 2022) – A 67-year-old woman was hit by a car on Sunday, August 7th while trying to check on the welfare of people who had just been involved in a car accident near her home in Queens.

At about 12:20 a.m., the good Samaritan exited her home at 125-11 103rd Avenue in Richmond Hill to check on those involved in a collision. As she was in the roadway assisting victims, a 22-year-old male struck her with his car.

The woman was taken by ambulance to a local hospital with critical injuries.

The driver stayed at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing.
