Ector County, TX – November 6, 2022, Javier Rodriguez Jr. and an Odessa man were hurt due to an accident where a vehicle hit a pedestrian.
Preliminary information released by authorities said the incident happened off the corner of FM 2020 and Torrance Avenue at around 1:15 a.m.
They said that 22-year-old Javier Rodriguez Jr. was in a Dodge Ram 1500 traveling westbound along FM 2020. Ahead, a Nissan Altima was disabled in the lane of travel. Rodriguez’s vehicle crashed into the disabled car. At the same time, a 33-year-old man standing outside of the disabled vehicle was hit.
Rodriguez’s injuries were said to be non-incapacitating, but the pedestrian’s injuries were said to be incapacitating. A teenager in the Nissan was not hurt.
