LUBBOCK, Texas (KVII) — A Clovis man was hit by a semi on I-27 near Lubbock after an earlier crash disabled his car.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, Jermaine Nord was running from the center median, across I-27, when he was hit around 3 a.m.
Nord was pronounced dead at the scene.
DPS said Nord had been involved in a crash. His car came to a rest in the center median.
