GOODYEAR, AZ (3TV/CBS 5) — Arizona Department of Public Safety troopers are on the scene of a deadly crash involving two vehicles along Interstate 10 in the West Valley Wednesday morning.
The crash was reported around 8 a.m. in the eastbound lanes near Litchfield Road. DPS tells Arizona’s Family that the driver, identified only as a woman, was speeding and driving recklessly in the area when she slammed into a cement mixer truck that had been disabled and stopped in the on-ramp side area. The driver in the cement mixer was not injured. Troopers say that they have not ruled out impairment as another possible factor in the crash.
