SPRING, Texas — A woman was hit and killed early Saturday morning near the Klein area, according to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.
The deadly crash was reported just after 6:30 a.m. on Spring Cypress and Kuykendahl in the Spring-Klein area.
According to Gonzalez, the woman was next to the driver’s side door pushing the SUV while her boyfriend was behind the vehicle. A second vehicle then hit and killed the woman. The SUV was hit again by a third vehicle, but no one was injured in that crash.
Both drivers stayed at the scene and are cooperating with the investigation. Gonzalez said the SUV had no lights of any kind and may have broken down from electrical failure.
