Dallas, TX — January 14, 2024, Jazmine Lewis was killed while King Martin, Kiara Frazier, and Devvyn Eddington were injured in a car accident on President George Bush Turnpike.
According to authorities, 19-year-old Jazmine Lewis and 18-year-old King Martin had been traveling in a southbound Honda Accord which was disabled due to a previous crash when the accident took place.
Lewis was reportedly outside of the disabled vehicle when the incident occurred. Officials indicate that, for unknown reasons, a BMW occupied by 28-year-old Kiara Frazier and 33-year-old Devvyn Eddington allegedly collided with both Lewis and the disabled Honda. Lewis reportedly incurred fatal injuries as a result of the accident and was declared deceased at the scene. Martin, Frazier, and Eddington each suffered suspected minor injuries.
