NORWALK, CT — A Norwalk man was killed Wednesday after his vehicle struck a parked tractor trailer on Interstate 95 in the Bronx, N.Y., according to media reports.
The Norwalk Hour reports Edwin Seixas, 40, of Norwalk, was driving south on the highway around 10:30 p.m. when he crashed into the truck, which was unoccupied and stopped in the left lane, partially blocking the center lane, due to a previous collision, according to NYPD.
New York Daily News reports Seixas, who was driving a Dodge Journey at the time of the crash, was rushed to Jacobi Medical Center in New York by medical crews, where he was later pronounced dead.
The crash occurred on the New England Thruway portion of I-95 near Baychester Avenue, according to the Daily News.
