OKLAHOMA CITY — A man was hit by vehicle while getting out of his car in northwest Oklahoma City on Monday evening.
At around 6:15 p.m., three vehicles were involved in a crash, where they each rear-ended each other. One of those drivers got out of his vehicle to survey the damage when a fourth vehicle, which was not involved in the initial crash, attempted to drive around the crash scene and hit the man, according to the Oklahoma City Police Department.
The driver who hit that man then drove away.
The man who was hit by the vehicle was transported to a hospital in serious condition, according to the Oklahoma City Police Department.
The crash happened near Northwest 10th Street and Vermont Avenue. Traffic was backed up in both directions on 10th Street.
Drivers should expect delays.
