MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A man who stopped to help a broken-down vehicle near the intersection of Riggins Mill Road and Joe Tamplin Industrial Blvd. in Macon on November 6 has died, according to Macon-Bibb Deputy Coroner Luann Stone.
53-year-old Jose Casiano was helping another person with the disabled car when he was struck. Stone confirmed hospital staff pronounced Casiano dead on Friday.
Stone said a second person who was helping was also struck but survived.
