GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. — The South Carolina Highway Patrol said one person died and five other people were injured in a crash involving a disabled vehicle on I-85 in Greenville County.
According to troopers, the crash happened at midnight Monday in the northbound lanes near mile marker 41.
Troopers say a car was disabled and was hit by a minivan.
Five people in the van were injured and taken to a hospital. The driver of the car died at the scene.
The coroner’s office has not yet released that person’s name.
