GLENDALE, Wis. - More than 10 vehicles were involved in an I-43 northbound off-ramp pileup on Friday night, Feb. 23 at Silver Spring Drive.

North Shore Fire/Rescue said “extremely icy conditions” were to blame for an initial two-vehicle crash on the ramp. As crews responded to that scene just before 8:30 p.m., more vehicles began to crash and pile up on the ramp – including a car-hauler, which had eight to 10 vehicles in its load.

There were injuries reported in the initial two-vehicle crash, North Shore Fire/Rescue said. Two people were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

A FOX6 News tower camera captured the moment an SUV slid into a Brown Deer light pole. It happened at the intersection of Green Bay and Brown Deer roads.

In Jefferson County, a car went off the freeway and possibly rolled. It happened on I-94 at County Highway F, near Ixonia.
