MONMOUTH, NJ, (February 13, 2024) - New Jersey State Police say a 30-year-old man was fatally injured Tuesday morning in a vehicle vs. pedestrian accident in Monmouth County.
According to authorities, Point Pleasant resident Kody Lupich was a passenger in a vehicle that experienced a mechanical issue along the Garden State Parkway and stopped near milepost 109.1. Subsequently, Lupich exited the disabled vehicle and was hit by a northbound motorist.
Sadly, Lupich died at the site of the crash.
