Shrewsbury, PA (February 6, 2024) – A 36-year-old man was killed in a two-vehicle crash Monday night in Shrewsbury.
The collision occurred around 11:40 p.m. in the 3800 block of Steltz Road, according to state police spokesperson James Grothey. Troopers were notified of a disabled driver and a crash at about the same time on Steltz Road, near the intersection with West Seiling Road in Shrewsbury, Grothey said. When troopers arrived at the scene, they found two vehicles had been involved in a wreck.
A preliminary investigation determined that a Subaru Legacy had become disabled and was partially blocking the eastbound lane. A Land Rover heading east on Steltz Road struck the rear of the Legacy, causing both vehicles to hit trees, Grothey said. One person died at the scene, while another person sustained only minor injuries. No further details were provided in the interim.
Our deepest condolences are extended to the loved ones of the deceased victim. Our thoughts go out to the injured victim and their family members in hopes of their full recovery.
