Jesse Lainhart killed in crash on Cemetery Avenue in Manchester

MANSFIELD, OH, (March 21, 2024) - A 44-year-old Aberdeen resident was tragically killed in a pedestrian accident early Thursday morning in the Village of Manchester.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Jesse Lainhart was struck at 12:55 a.m. on Cemetery Avenue near U.S. Route 52.

A preliminary investigation revealed that Lainhart had parked her Pontiac G6 on the right side of Cemetery Avenue and, while unloading items from the car, was hit. Georgetown state troppers say a southbound Ford Ranger went off the side of the road and hit the Pontiac, which upon impact struck Lainhart.

She was transported to Meadowview Regional Medical Center in Maysville, Kentucky, and later transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where Lainhart passed away.
