BELLFLOWER, CA (May 13, 2024) — One person was injured after a truck crashed into a semi-truck trailer in a fiery accident on the 91 Freeway near the 605 Freeway.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the two-vehicle crash happened around 6:00 a.m. Friday. For an unknown reason, a big rig stalled in the eastbound lanes. Subsequently, a black pickup truck plowed into the semi-truck’s trailer, wedging itself underneath before catching on fire.
Soon after, the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded and extinguished the blaze and took the injured pickup driver to a hospital in an unknown condition.
Following the accident, traffic investigators did not say what caused the accident. However, if any witnesses could help the police, please call the CHP.
