OSSEO, Wis. (WEAU) - WisDOT released today the name of the man who died in yesterday’s crash in Trempealeau County.
According to a news release from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, on May 26 at about 3:40 p.m., there was a crash between an SUV and a semi on Interstate 94 near mile marker 87 eastbound near Osseo, Wis.
39-year-old Przemyslaw Kania of Chicago, Ill., who was driving the SUV, died in the crash.
The initial witness statement and investigation indicated that the semi was parked on the shoulder after suffering a flat tire. The driver of the SUV rear-ended the semi-trailer.
The driver of the semi was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
