A 37-year-old woman was killed in a crash on the Atlantic City Expressway in Camden County on Saturday night after she struck an disabled vehicle parked on the right shoulder, authorities said.
Ashley Pitts was driving an SUV west near milepost 38.3 in Winslow when she sideswiped the disabled car, State Police said.
Pitts, of Camden, was thrown from her vehicle after it overturned. She was pronounced dead at the scene following the 10:30 p.m. crash.
The four people in the disabled vehicle were hospitalized with minor injuries, State Police said.
