Passenger killed in multi-vehicle crash in Greenville County that sent a car airborne, troopers say

GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. — A passenger was killed in a multi-vehicle crash Sunday in Greenville County, South Carolina, according to Master Trooper Brandon Bolt with South Carolina Highway Patrol.

The accident happened just before Noon on SC Highway 418, 10 miles south of Greenville, Bolt said.

According to Bolt, a Honda SUV and a Dodge SUV were stopped in traffic heading east when a Ford motorhome struck the Honda SUV causing it to strike the Dodge SUV.

A Free motorhome then struck the back of the Ford motorhome which was towing a Fiat, Bolt said.

According to Bolt, due to the impact of the collision the Fiat went airborne, landing on top of a Toyota SUV.

The passenger of the Free motorhome was killed, Bolt said.

According to Bolt, the driver and passenger of the Toyota SUV were injured and taken to the hospital.

All of the occupants of the other vehicles were not injured.

The coroner has not identified the victims.
