LAURENS, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - Troopers with the South Carolina Highway Patrol said one pedestrian is dead and three others are in the hospital following an overnight crash in Laurens on Wednesday.
According to troopers, at 2 a.m., four people were standing in the median on I-385 near a disabled vehicle at mile marker 12 when a Honda civic hit them.
Highway patrol said one pedestrian was pronounced dead on scene. The other three were taken to the hospital by EMS and helicopter.
The driver of the Honda civic was not injured.
The Laurens County Coroner’s Office identified the pedestrian that passed away on scene as 23-year-old Milan Jeter of Simpsonville.
