A 13-year-old from Tennessee died, and three others were injured, after a multi-vehicle crash in Autauga County, Friday, June 7.
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) said the teen was critically injured when the 2016 Toyota Rav4 they were a passenger in collided head-on with a sedan.
After the initial collision, the sedan was then struck by a second sedan. After being struck, the first sedan struck a pickup truck.
The crash happened shortly before 1:30 p.m. on Interstate 65 near the 189 mile marker, about eight miles north of Prattville.
The 13-year-old was transported to a local hospital where they succumbed to their injuries and was pronounced dead. A 14-year-old, who was also a passenger in the Rav4 was injured and taken to a local area hospital for treatment.
The drivers of the Rav4 and the first sedan were also injured and were taken to Ba
