CROMWELL, Conn. — Connecticut State Police are looking for the driver who hit a person on Interstate 91 in Cromwell on Friday evening.
State police were called to respond near Exit 21 on I-91 South in Cromwell just after 8 p.m. Friday.
A Tesla was parked on the right shoulder, and the 38-year-old driver was outside the car, troopers said.
A small, white Honda sedan veered into the right shoulder and hit the Tesla and the Tesla’s driver, leaving him with serious injuries, state police said. The passengers inside the Tesla did not report any injuries, state police said.
The Honda left the scene, and now state police are looking for the 60-year-old driver.
