TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (WBRC) - A 30-year-old Tuscaloosa woman has died after police say she was hit and killed by an 18-wheeler when she got out of her car after a crash.
The woman has been identified as Kiana Marie Armstrong.
Police say Armstrong was involved in a single-vehicle crash as she got off the exit ramp from I-20/59 and her car came to a rest across the middle of I-359 just before 5:30 a.m. Sept. 11.
A witness told police Armstrong got out of her car after the accident and was then hit by an oncoming 18-wheeler.
She died at DCH Regional Medical Center.
