SAN ANTONIO - A woman who was fatally struck by a pickup truck while crossing a street on the Northwest side has been identified.
Authorities have identified the elderly woman as 67-year-old Mariah Martinez, who died as a result of the injuries she sustained in the crash.
The driver of the truck, a 57-year-old man, quickly got out of his truck and went to the woman’s aid.
That’s when he was also struck by another passing vehicle, which did not stop to help him. The man was rushed to the hospital.
When found, the driver of the second vehicle will be charged with Collision Involving Death.
