TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Work crews found a body in a car Monday on I-75 near Riverview weeks after a crash, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
A Mazda Miata was found near mile-marker 252, troopers said, which is between the Gibsonton Drive and US-301 exits.
FHP believes the crash happened along the west shoulder sometime in the past several weeks, but the exact date and time is unknown.
The man who was found has not been identified, and he was the only person in the vehicle, troopers said.
No other details were immediately available.
