GREGG CO., TX – A Euless man sustained fatal injuries Tuesday night in a multi-vehicle collision along the interstate in Gregg County, reports KLTV 7.
The accident occurred shortly before 9:30 p.m. on the westbound side of I-20, somewhere between Liberty City and Longview. Officials haven’t yet provided a cross street or mile marker for the crash.
The initial investigation indicates that a westbound box van became disabled in the roadway after rear ending an 18-wheeler. A second semi-truck then struck the van, and the van then hit a school bus from Forney Independent School District.
The driver of the box van succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the accident. Authorities identified him as 21-year-old Zuo Mac Kpogba.
Neither of the truck drivers were hurt in the crash. The occupants of the school bus were also uninjured.
The investigation is ongoing.
