ST. ROBERT, Mo. (KY3) - A 48-year-old Lebanon woman was killed Tuesday night after her pickup truck was struck by a semi-truck on Interstate 44 in Pulaski County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said the crash happened at 9:00 near St. Robert. The woman’s pickup truck was stopped in the road when the semi-truck hit it.
Both vehicles went off the interstate after the collision. The pickup truck hit a cable barrier, and the woman was thrown from the vehicle. Troopers said she was not wearing a seatbelt.
The semi-truck driver was not injured in the crash.
The Highway Patrol has not released information about why the pickup truck was stopped on the highway.
