Driver struck, several injured in crash involving 3 cars in Waterbury

WATERBURY, Conn. (WTNH) — Police say a pedestrian was struck and several people were taken to the hospital for injuries after a crash involving three cars in Waterbury.

The crash happened around 9:41 p.m. at the intersection of Chase Avenue and Hill Street, police said.

According to police, the drivers were outside of their cars after a two-car crash when a third car hit the rear end of one of the cars. A driver was also struck in the crash, police said.

Several occupants from the cars involved were transported to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
