Langhorne Manor, PA – Three-Vehicle Crash on Route 1 NB Sends One to Hospital

Langhorne Manor, PA (February 8, 2025) – A multi-vehicle collision on Thursday morning left one driver injured and caused significant disruptions on Route 1 northbound in Langhorne Manor Borough.

According to Pennsylvania State Police, the crash occurred around 6 a.m. near Hulmeville Ave amid icy road conditions. Authorities reported that a 22-year-old woman from Trevose, driving a Honda CRV, lost control of her vehicle due to the slick roadway and struck a guide rail. The impact caused the CRV to spin and collide with a 2008 Honda Accord driven by a 26-year-old Philadelphia man.

A third vehicle, a Honda Civic operated by a 23-year-old man from Lower Southampton Township, was unable to stop in time and struck the CRV, contributing to the chain-reaction crash.

Emergency responders from the Penndel-Middletown Emergency Squad arrived at the scene to assist the injured. The driver of the Honda Accord sustained injuries and was transported to St. Mary Medical Center in Middletown Township for treatment. The extent of their injuries has not been disclosed.

Authorities confirmed that two of the three vehicles had to be towed from the crash site. Pennsylvania State Police have determined that the driver of the Honda CRV was traveling at an unsafe speed given the icy conditions and will be cited accordingly.

Our thoughts are with the injured victim, and we wish them a full recovery.
