NORTH RIDGEVILLE, Ohio — A 28-year-old Mentor man has died following an overnight crash on I-480 West near the North Ridgeville city limits.
North Ridgeville police say it was around 12:58 a.m. Wednesday when their officers responded to the scene of the crash where “it was determined that a single vehicle left the right side of the roadway and struck a disabled semi truck.”
The driver of the vehicle that struck the semi was pronounced dead at the scene. His name was not released.
No other injuries were reported.
The incident remains under investigation by the North Ridgeville Police Department Crash Investigation Unit and the Lorain County Coroner’s Office.
